Warranty Terms & Conditions

BytBots offers a 3-year warranty on all eligible smart home automation products purchased directly from us.

  • The warranty period begins from the date of product delivery or purchase invoice date, whichever is later.
  • Warranty claims are valid only when the following documents are provided:
    • Original purchase invoice
    • Proof of defect (images/videos/supporting documents)

πŸ“Œ Important: Warranty is not claimable if any of the above documents are missing.

If a product or component requires repair or replacement, BytBots reserves the right to replace it with a new or equivalent part or unit, at its discretion.

Warranty Support:

πŸ”§ Installation & Service

BytBots provides free installation for smart door locks purchased from us.

To schedule installation, customers must register their preferred date and time by contacting our support team.

Lock software support

For any support related to lock software like APP reconfiguratuon settings and adding users fingerprint etc will be done on phone call to our support team only, if customer need visit and do the settings visit will be chargeable at 500 per visit.

πŸ“„ Terms & Conditions for Installation:

  • Installation is done within 7 business days of delivery (in serviced locations only).
  • Available slots: Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • First visit is free, including installation and demonstration.

⚠️ If installation cannot be completed due to reasons beyond BytBots' control (e.g., door polishing, customer not available), the second visit will be chargeable at INR 800 + GST.

⚠️ Doors with Laminate, Veneer & Sunmica may get minor uneven finishing near striker plate and mortise/lock body inside the door, which is very normal while installing large locks. These can’t be repaired by our team and will not be compensated.

🚨 Emergency Installation

  • Subject to installer availability
  • Extra INR 1000 fee applies

πŸ” Revisit Charges

If installation fails due to on-site conditions or wrong model choice, a revisit charge of INR 800 will apply.

πŸ”‹ Battery Leakage & Damage Disclaimer

❌ Not Covered Under Warranty:

  • Damage from battery leakage (e.g., corrosion, electronic faults)
  • Improper battery use or installation

User Responsibility: Regularly inspect and replace batteries per manufacturer instructions.

  • Applies to Face ID Models
  • Valid for 1 year from purchase
  • Excludes misuse, accidents, or unauthorized modifications
